Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using tjtrans (“the Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. For material changes, we may also send an in-app or email notice.

2. Description of Service

tjtrans is a B2B information and matching platform connecting shippers with freight forwarders. Our services include:

• Directory of verified freight forwarders and company pages
• RFQ posting, matching alerts, and indicative quote comparison
• In-app and email communication between shippers and forwarders
• Helper tools such as port codes and lane landing pages
• Company claim, member workspace, and collaboration features

We do not carry cargo and are not a party to transport contracts or freight settlement.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

Certain features require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as needed.

3.2 Account security

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3.3 Account types

We offer capabilities for shippers, freight forwarders, and related roles. Features, quotas, and duties depend on your claim status, membership plan, and account settings.

3.4 Communications consent

By registering, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including:

• Verification emailsOne-time passwords, email verification codes, and account verification messages.
• Transactional notificationsRFQ alerts, indicative quote responses, selection outcomes, and message notices.
• System & security noticesAccount updates, security alerts, password resets, and service announcements.
• Marketing communicationsProduct updates, offers, or partner opportunities (you may unsubscribe anytime).

You may opt out of marketing emails in account settings or via unsubscribe links. Essential transactional and security messages generally cannot be fully disabled while the account remains active.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information (including RFQs, quotes, or company profiles)
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt Platform operation
• Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Use automated means to scrape or abuse APIs without permission
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Violate applicable laws or infringe others’ rights

5. Freight forwarding boundary

tjtrans facilitates connections between shippers and freight forwarders. We do not provide freight forwarding or carriage services ourselves.

Agreements for forwarding services are made directly between you and the forwarder. tjtrans is not a party to those agreements and is not responsible for:

• Quality or timeliness of forwarding services
• Cargo damage, delay, loss, or related shipping losses
• Disputes between shippers and forwarders
• Final accuracy of quotes, rates, or space offered by forwarders

Indicative quotes are for reference only and do not constitute a booking, lock, or binding rate. Confirm formal arrangements in writing.

6. Fees and payment

Some features may require paid membership or add-ons as published on the site. Fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

Subscription plans and benefits are described on our pricing / membership pages. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by tjtrans and its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other IP laws.

You retain ownership of content you submit, and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display it as needed to operate and improve the service.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, or that content is always accurate, complete, or reliable.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, tjtrans shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the related paid service in the twelve months preceding the claim (if any).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless tjtrans and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may limit, suspend, or terminate your account and access at our discretion for serious breaches, security risks, or abuse. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ends immediately.
